Batch crop images online

Add up to 50 photos and as many as 12 output sizes. CropMaster crops every photo to every size in one go and hands you a ZIP with a folder per size. Smart focus finds the subject; tap any photo to correct it. Nothing is uploaded.

How to do it

  1. Pick one or more output sizes: platform presets, exact pixels, or a scale such as “longest side 1600 px”.
  2. Add up to 50 photos by dropping them or tapping Add photos.
  3. Choose framing (smart focus, centre, or fit with no crop), optionally auto-trim white borders, round the corners or add padding.
  4. Check the dashed frames (tap a size chip to preview it), tap a photo to move its focus point, then download the ZIP.

How smart focus works

For each photo, CropMaster shrinks a copy to 64 pixels, measures where edges and colour are strongest (faces, products and text are busier than sky or walls), and centres the crop on that point, pulled slightly towards the middle. It is quick and runs locally, and it is right most of the time. When it isn’t, a tap fixes it.

Why batch cropping stays on your device

Fifty full-size photos can be several hundred megabytes. Uploading them would be slow and would hand your photos to a server. Here, your browser decodes, crops and zips them itself, so the only limit is your device’s memory.

Questions

How many images can I batch crop?

Up to 50 per batch, each to up to 12 sizes. Download the ZIP, press Clear all and start another batch if you need more.

Can I batch crop to different sizes at once?

Yes. Add several output sizes (for example Instagram portrait, a Shopify square and a 1200 × 628 link image). The ZIP has one folder per size.

Is there a free tool that crops images automatically?

Yes, this one. Smart focus places each crop on the busiest part of the photo, and auto-trim removes flat white or solid-colour borders, such as scanner margins or product shots on white, before cropping. Both run in your browser.

How do I batch crop in Photoshop or Windows instead?

Photoshop can record a crop as an Action and run it with File › Automate › Batch, but every photo gets the same fixed crop position. Windows Photos only crops one image at a time. A browser tool with a focus point per photo is usually quicker for mixed shots.

Can I rename the files?

Yes. Use the file-name template with {name}, {size}, {preset}, {n} (01, 02…) and {date}.

Does batch cropping reduce quality?

Each image is cropped from the original pixels and saved once. JPG and WebP use the quality you set (88 by default); PNG is lossless.

What formats can I batch crop?

Anything your browser can open: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), AVIF, and HEIC in Safari.
